Unlike most dive watches on the market, Vostok AMFIBIA is Russian through and through!
Dating back to 1967, Amfibia was the first Soviet diving watch designed exclusively for its Navy. Over 50 years later, this unique timepiece employs the same technology, which relies on outside pressure to tightly seal its case. As the watch gets submerged, the surrounding water pressure increases, which in turn seals and pressurises the case. The ingenuity of this design factored in distortion caused by increasing water pressure into the tolerance of the watch.
Vostok Amfibia is part of a rich watchmaking history, incorporating revolutionary design and unique aesthetics. This watch is equally at home out of the water, as it is in the water and it is a 'must have' addition for any discerning watch enthusiast or collector.

Vostok AMFIBIA represents what could be the most significant part of Soviet watchmaking history, incorporating revolutionary design and unique 'Vostok' aesthetic. Built like every other Vostok, hence like a Russian tank, this watch is unassumingly tough and functional.
The in-house manufactured and assembled movement is robust and durable with an accuracy somewhere around +25 / -30 seconds out of the box. This could be easily calibrated, although isn't generally an issue for most.
This Amfibia SCUBA offers automatic, as well as manual winding options. This model features a brushed stainless steel case with white hands and hour markers and a striking orange 15-minute elapsed time indicator on the bezel.
While it's a matter of personal taste, we absolutely love the formidable look of this watch on the wrist. Wear it as is, or change it up with a leather or Nato strap for a smarter or more casual look. In either case, this watch will not be mistaken for anything other than a Vostok and will speak volumes about it's owners' personality.
Throw in a good story about its' unique engineering or how it was the first watch in outer space and you have plenty conversation starters on land or sea - over a drink, in the office, next to a surf board or at a diving expedition.
